Yes, we all know it's a Kenmeri Skyline, but this specific one appears to be a badass race GT-R version. I've never really known much about this specific liveried car, so if anyone has any info on this variety of Kenmeri it'll be helpful

Not much seems to be known about this, other than it being a factory prototype.

It helps on the origin of the car. It's like the Badfinger of JDM racers, never living its potential in its day because of bad happenings (energy crisis for the car, bad management for the band).

I think that car is the real (and the only) race version KPGS110 Skyline. The real one wasn't raced as the production model went extinct before the '73 season begun. That car was displayed in '72 Tokyo Motor Show and was recently restored by (Nissan factory) volunteers.
Photo is probably from recent Nismo Festival as that car and it's (nearly equally awesome) friends seem to visit there often.

Thanks very much for your info. How'd you get that? There seems to be nothing on the race version over the internet.
